The work investigates litigation in the World Heritage Committee and its relationship with climate litigation, using the case of Wood Buffalo National Park. It employs a case study methodology and analyzes actors (plaintiffs, defendants, and the decision-making body) and claims (facts, material law, and procedural developments). The initial hypothesis suggested a strategic potential that manifested in legislative, political, and social changes, which was confirmed throughout the study. The conclusion highlights the connection between litigation in the Committee and climate litigation.
